SHOOTING THE ‘COMMIE’…

I was delighted to be asked by the Royal Commonwealth Pool to create a series of images to celebrate their 50th Birthday. This amazing building opened in 1970 and is completely different in almost every way to the pools I’ve been shooting over the last two years, with its brutalist architecture, amazing concrete diving boards and primary colours. What it does have in common with the Victorian pools I have shot to date is the myriads of great memories it has created, and is still creating, for so many people.
